We will be riding the entire Indian peninsular coast, and since we start from Mumbai we first cover the west coast and then the east coast. The first section of the west coast is the Konkan belt. It was always a dream to ride to Konkan just after monsoons to truly admire the lush greenery it offers. But never the less we were sure that Konkan will be beautiful no matter what season and we were not disappointed.
Mumbai – Mandwa RoRo Ferry
We started early morning from Mumbai to catch the Ro-Ro ferry which departs at 7a.m. on weekdays. The ferry prices per person starts from ₹400 and the price for a motorcycle is ₹210. It takes around 1 hour to reach the other side which is Mandwa. Breakfast is available on the ferry, its price is not included in the ferry ticket. Once we reached Mandwa, we put on our map and set the destination to Harihareshwar. We had breakfast at Alibaug and then we ride along the coast of Alibaug taking breaks for photos and drone shots. We ride past many beaches like the Kashid beach, Murud beach and finally reach the Agardanda.
Agardanda – Dighi Jetty

From Agardanda, we took a ferry to Dighi. The cost for the ferry with a motorcycle and 2 persons was ₹80. The ferry ride lasted for around 15 minutes and we were in Dighi.

Now Harihareshwar was only under 50kms away. Enroute we took a stop at Diveagar beach which was totally empty, had lunch and finally reached Harihareshwar. Checked into a Homestay and later in the evening went to the Harihareshwar beach and the temple.
